I listened to this while I was working around the house on a Sunday and it was interesting enough to keep me listening. I enjoyed the twists but I wouldn’t say there was anything overly special about the book (and I’m a big JLA fan).

A "page-turning" (what is the equivalent in audiobooks?) mystery with a surprising twist in the end. Romance was a bit predictable (what I consider typical Armentrout) but still steamy and what you'd want for the characters. I've only read her fantasy novels, so this was a nice change of pace. Her books are great for when you want something fast-paced with strong female protagonists and steamy romance.

4 stars.
Now I am not ashamed to say that Jennifer L. Armentrout is hands down one of my favorite authors. I follow her religiously and read all her books as soon as they come out.
I did enjoy this book, but it wasn’t one of her better stories. It had a good twist to it, but I suppose I just wasn’t super immersed into the thrill of find out who the killer is.
It could be just that I’m more into the morbid stories that have a little bit more horror to it. I would definitely say this was softer as far as it comes to serial killers.
Other than that, I loved both of the main characters. And I loved their relationship. This book definitely didn’t deter me from Ms. Armentrout, but it’s not top of the list either.

I mean it's a JLA book, so it's obviously amazing! That ending!
I mean I had my suspicious, but I could never be sure if I was right or not.
One amazing story with a great twist and a swoon worthy romance!
Completely recommend!!!

It had great twists and turns. It kept me guessing on “who-done-it”. It was a little too scary for me at times. I like mystery but this was a bit too much.
