I’m compelled by the story, I just wish everything outside of Hinase wasn’t so binary and heteronormative. I really liked the pop of color on some of the pages.
It really bothered me that Azusa divulged Hinase’s medical information to Shiori.

The art style is nice, and the use of blue as an accent colour with the black and white really adds something to the visuals. I think the concept of individuals being genderless until choosing one at age 12 is interesting, although it seems like at that point things are still held to a very stereotypical gender binary.
I was disappointed that dating became such a major point of the plot. Hinase's friends both seem incredibly rude for being so pushy and wanting to influence Hinase to be either male or female for the purpose of dating them. I also didn't like the refusal to even entertain the idea of homosexuality.
So far it's making me feel very weird, as an agender reader. I'm not sure if I can pass through these feelings to continue reading and see what more the series has to say.
Also, who ever heard of medical confidentiality, am I right?
