If you’re a Sarah Adams fan, then you will love Juliana Smith.
Per My Last Email delivers a delightful, witty, Star Wars loving, mutual pining, slow burn, best friends to lovers, workplace romance, found family.
I honestly wondered multiple times will they or won’t they. I found myself more frustrated than FMC Layla and MMC Luke were throughout the book every time they were interrupted. But my gosh. Luke at Layla’s door… it was chef kiss.
Juliana’s writing is very descriptive and I was able to visualize every scene and the character interactions. It was easy to follow despite the Wells’ family being a big family.
Can’t wait to dive into the rest of this series!

Well written, however I just don’t like friends to lovers romances where the two MCs are in love but don’t communicate. The story is a workplace romance with Jim and Pam vibes.
Some similarities to the cheat sheet and there is no spice.
Overall it was okay.

The basic bones of this book were good but it just didn’t do it. At times I felt the author hated women (the way the fmc talks about a colleague she has to share a room with immediately gave me bad vibes) and I felt like plot points were dropped and picked up and changed a whole bunch. Overall just not for me.
