I picked up the audiobook and halfway through the first chapter, I wasn't feeling it. I put it down and let weeks passed. I'm not sure what lead me to try again, but i'm so glad I did. The only 'pep talk' I gave myself before I started for a second time was; 'Imagine if YOU were her. Working this job, seeing this guy walk in.. and suddenly you can vividly feel the shift into nervous-giddyness as you drool over him.' And that's all it took. I was hooked.

I was squealing over every little thing. The pinkies!!

I'm trying to pick up books as a hobby and I don't think I couldn't started on a better one to get my feet wet.

so..i liked this book. i will say that while i like slow burns, i feel like this was a little bit too slow for my liking. i feel like if it was a little bit faster pace, and more sexy scenes, it would’ve been 4 stars for me.

This was a cute story but there was a lot of fluffy fluff in it that made it hard to continue at times for me, but for someone who really enjoys the friends-to-lovers trope and slow-ish burns, this would be right up your alley!!

Too cute!

I started these books from book 2 and I was curious at how Layla and Luke had met, and it was very heartworming!

Now, can't wait for book 3
