LOVED She's the Man. I should have read this seven years ago when I first saw the movie. I squealed every time a familiar name (Orsino, Olivia, Viola, Sebastian, Illyria) came up when I read the comedy.
The instalove squicked me out a bit, but this is Shakespeare. I don't know why I expected anything different.

Está disfrutona la obra. Claramente la película “She’s the Man” está basada en esto, referencias digooo. Una fantasía, aunque con lo divertido que es Shakespeare es una pena que fuera tan misógino.

One of Shakespeare's funniest comedies, in my opinion. While I think there are other plays with more meat to them, this play, when staged correctly, can absolutely bring the house down! #TheReveal #YellowGartersWho
Additionally, it is frequently under-appreciated for the number of famous quotes from that come from its lines. Enjoy:
If music be the food of love, play on.
(Orsino, Act 1 Scene 1)
What country, friends, is this?
(Viola, Act 1 Scene 2)
Better a witty fool than a foolish wit.
(Feste, Act 1 Scene 5)
O time, thou must untangle this, not I.
It is too hard a knot for me t'untie.
(Viola, Act 2 Scene 2)
I was adored once too.
(Sir Andrew, Act 2 Scene 3)
She pined in thought,
And with a green and yellow melancholy
She sat like patience on a monument,
Smiling at grief.
(Viola, Act 2 Scene 4)
Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon 'em.
(Malvolio, Act 2 Scene 5)
Foolery, sir, does walk about the orb like the sun, it shines everywhere.
(Feste, Act 3 Scene 1)
Also:
Sir Toby has Dwight Schrute energy—change my mind.

I always love his comedies. They are a hoot. How can you not love a name like Sir Toby Belch?

3.5/5: I enjoyed it but I was kinda confused between characters. The audiobook I listened to while reading was really well produced and explained what was happening and the historical context behind jokes/references.

I forgot how damned funny this play was until I just re-read it! Some wonderfully quotable lines as well. You don't like it? Go shake your ears!
