I've always loved Anderson's books. I re-read this because I didnt fully remember it from my teens. It holds up and more. She nails the mind of a young adult, but Anderson is not just a young adult fiction writer. All ages should read her books.
Kate and Teri are both extremely relatable characters. The writing is impeccable, the storyline is heartbreaking and beautiful and devastating.
