The Cotton Candy Massacre by Christopher Robertson
4.5
4.5 stars. I loved this way more than a normal person should given how gruesome it is... I've never had a particular hatred of clowns... but I might after this.
- My one complaint is that it felt a little too long, like I got about 2/3 of the way through and thought "surely this is over soon?" but then find out theres like over a hundred pages left?
- But even with it feeling long, I was never bored, like the action was CONSTANT so I was always completely invested
- Some of these clowns will haunt my nightmares forever (I'm looking at you, Shiggles)
- My favorite element of this writing style was that it was written as like a description of a movie. This is perfect for visual readers like me, who picture the story like a movie in my mind anyway.
- - The "cut to" and "split screen" moments made it so easy to picture exactly what was happening as if I was watching the movie myself.
- There was not a single point in this book where I KNEW who was going to survive in the end, which just made the action so much more interesting
- The actual amount of heinous violence in this should be troubling, and yet I was here for it.

There is a little bit of every kind of violent horror in this book
