This book (and series) is so wonderful. It does have the slower, epic fantasy feel, but I like that! It lets me take my time and get to know the world and characters.

I love Aldrik, my new royal book boyfriend, and Vhalla is growing on me as she comes into her own. I'm definitely going to read the rest of the series.
