As a teacher who listened to this audiobook over 15 days in late October/early November of 2020.... I have no idea how to talk about this book to people who haven't read it. The height of their Witchyness leading up to Halloween night, the sketchy election during such a scary/historical election week, the themes of sacrifice and survival and legacies as a teacher during Covid (on top of the usual oct/nov burnout), and the whole thing about making a Way because there's a need... I loved every last second of this book and it was the absolute epitome of "the perfect book at the perfect moment in my life." I don't know how I would have survived this time period without this book.
