While attempting to read this sorry excuse of a book I felt the need to bang my head repeatedly against gotelé. Off the top of my head, I can say that I can't remember the last time I had to suffer through a more unlikeable main character and neither can I understand why a worldbuilding with so much potential could be so thoroughly ruined. Also, this wasn't YA writing; it overall felt like bad MG writing. 

Eventually, I decided to DNF for the wellbeing of my skull and mental health.
