I liked the vibes here (a queer romance with a trans MC and horror vibes), but the pacing kept this from being a full-on hit for me. I really liked our MCs. They both have depth and layers. They are what kept me in the story. This is very much a slow burn, in my opinion, with a lot of mutual pining (with some complicated feelings mixed in). All in all, I enjoyed myself. It was an easy read and easily enjoyable, but I probably won't linger on it very much.
