I have no idea how to rate this one. The early-2000s sexual assault trope is out in full force; there's some weird gender hierarchical nonsense happening in the Brotherhood (though I adore how much they want to be there for Beth and support her becoming stronger and having more agency), and the Brothers' names are ridiculous. Despite all of this, I couldn't stop reading it.

It's going to take book club to get me to come up with a firmer rating (and opinion).
