This book wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. I did like the storyline coming together in terms of the missing woman and everything around that, but I did feel like some of the characters read very elementary. The main female character was really weird in her logic about her nephew. Like I understand wanting to not confuse him but the way she’d repeat it and act like it isn’t obvious he does like them was just annoying. I didn’t understand why the nephew who supposed to be thirteen read like an eight year old. I have brothers who are eleven/twelve years old as my reference.
