In usual Cora Rose fashion, this book is completely ridiculous, and I love it. At this point, it's a van Beek family trait to imprint on random people that catch their interest like a baby duck and proceed to perform a little light stalking, but in a cute way. Luke  meets Elliot randomly at a coffee shop and just decides Elliot is his now and then inserts himself into Elliot's life. Elliot isn't super receptive at first, but still lets it happen. It's all downhill from there. Luke and Elliot's dynamic is ridiculous and hilarious but also endearing and adorable. They definitely have the grumpy/sunshine, black cat/golden retriever vibes down pat. I also really loved Elliot's sisters as a lovely addition to the chaotic side characters in this world. We also get some time with other characters in this series (Sem, Maggie, Emery, August, Lex) which was always an interesting experience. All in all, this was just so much fun and an all-around good time to read. So far, Cora Rose doesn't disappoint.
