📝 This is book 1 of a series that I've already read books 3 and 4 of. It was good to get the foundation information that I was lacking with the others lol. This was a fun book with romance and adventure/murder. It went by super fast, both because of the writing style and because it was short.
🎧 Mary Jane Wells narrated, so of course it was a great performance. The book was dual POV, but MJW was the only narrator.
🌶️ 2/5 there was only one explicit scene and very little else.
✊🏳️🌈 Class diversity (she's a lady, he's a policeman) but nothing else in terms of diversity.
