I am absolutely hooked on this series. I can read each one in a single sitting, so my only complaint really is that they're too short. I love all of the characters. I love the voice of the narration. I love the frank and honest depiction of the strengths and struggles of people living with various mental and emotional health issues. I think I related to Sumi the most in this one, even though it was really Jack's story. In the first book, I immediately recognized Sumi's ADHD even though it's not the same as my ADHD, but I think the forced caution of being on the Moors shifted Sumi's presentation of ADHD into something much closer to mine. It felt nice to see someone like me represented on the page. Plus, Sumi made me laugh almost every time she said something.
