A Bánh Mì for Two by Trinity Nguyen
Not sure what to rate this. There were moments where I really loved the romance, but other moments where it felt uncharacteristic.
I found the ends of the chapters pretty abrupt.
I've seen some other reviews mention that this novel tried to cover too much in too little pages and I think I agree. We know that Vivi is in school, but if we weren't told that ar the beginning I would've completely forgotten because it's almost never mentioned again (there's maybe two lines about homework and daydreaming in class).
Also saw some reviews mention that the setting is unrealistic at times but not something I can input on.
