I really enjoyed this audio! I feel like while the story itself was good, the narrators truly knocked it out of the park. I feel like i probably wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much if i would have consumed any other way.
I really loved Josh - He was brooding and misunderstood and just wanted someone to love him. His relationship with his best friend was enjoyable too. NGL i wasn’t sure where we were going at the beginning but once we got to the meat and potatoes of the story - I couldn’t put it down.
Our FMC was ok - I’m not sure why but there was something about her I just didn’t vibe with. She almost annoyed me sometimes, but that didn’t hurt the story overall.
I loved the comedy / humor aspect of it as well. It was dark but it wasn’t overly dark / walking the line of consent dark. I feel like as a reader we knew that they were both consenting parties.
The second half of the book felt like there was almost too much going on? A lot of it felt like off the wall, like the author needed to not go over a certain amount of pages but was also semi info dumping, but I also didn’t hate it? IDK 😆
Again, I can’t explain enough - if you’re wanting to pick this book up, PLEASE consume via audio!
I def enjoyed & would recommend!
