So, admittedly, this took me a bit to really get into. There is a lot of world building, but the interesting characters are what kept me with it, and I'm so glad I did. Ash is a really relatable character, so I liked that we get the story through his POV. We learn about the Folk right alongside him. The lore of this world is super intriguing, and there is a lot of it. It feels a bit like info dumping for a bit, and it feels like the story drags for a chunk of the book, but it's worth powering through. This ends on a cliffhanger, and I am so excited to read Forgotten Vows after this.
