I do think I may have done the first half of this book a disservice by reading it right after finishing the most extraordinary book, but regardless I really enjoyed this book and definitely got into it by the second half. The writing reads like poetry and conveys a feeling that is oh so difficult to put into words, but Capetta does it in the best way with an air of mysticism and magic.
