Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata

4.0

Convenience Store Woman is a quirky, satirical fast read and I thoroughly enjoyed every page. My only complaint is I wish it were longer! I would have happily read another 200, 300+ pages on Keiko's life. I felt like I had a deep resonance with and understanding of Keiko, and Murata also brought to life the other characters who were fully rounded and very relatable. This book was a great laugh and I would really recommend it as a fantastic piece of fiction.
