Reading anything in the Sadenverse feels a bit like coming home. They are always such comforting reads, and this was no different. Here, we get Emmett's story, the other half of the Dalton Duo, a.k.a. the chaos twins all grown up. In this story, there is plenty of chaos. This was a fun read. The relationship between Emmett and Jonah was fun to see, and I liked seeing more of the deep connection between Emmett and Benny. My only qualm is that the pacing fell off a bit around the halfway point. That said, this was still thoroughly enjoyable. I think we can all agree we got a little frustrated with Emmett and Benny and their years long shenanigans and their unhealthy avoidance tactics. But, we come to understand why, and in the end, they see the error of their ways and learn from it. I loved getting some page time with West and Asher again. That was so much fun, and the ending made me so happy. Overall, a great conclusion to our second visit to FU.
