The Final Hunt was a very interesting read. What would you do if one day your husband gets killed by a bear, his body is never found and afterwards you found undeniable proof that he's the serial killer and rapist known as The Teacher Killer? And what's worse, all that he did before "dying" (because you're not sure that he's dead after all, since the body was never found) was to bring on false evidence to make it seem like you were helping him, which directly leads to you losing your reputation and becoming a suspect.
I would personally be pissed. Our protagonist is beyond pissed.
However, she's convinced that her dead husband is still alive, somewhere in Alaska, so when she discovers a similar homicide over there she takes the abrupt decision to travel from Seattle to Alaska to stop her husband. But he knows her deepest secret too, so she can't let him go out alive.
This was a fast read and I really enjoyed it, but I think that towards the end it went too fast and the love story was not believable for me, which was a bummer and it ended up bringing down the ending.
