IT by Stephen King is easily the most disturbing, scary and gory book by him that I have read so far. All of your fears of clowns and other childhood horrors are met in this book. I don’t think I will ever be able to look a water the same way again and even more, clowns. However, it does have some slow areas in a lot of the book. I didn’t think I would LOVE this book until the last 200 pages. The last 200 pages totally changed my mind. I think this book touched me more then any other Stephen King book so far. While IT is the most disturbing/scary/gory book I have read so far by him, it’s also a story about true wonderful friendship and to me, that was very touching. It also easily has 7 of my favorite characters of all times in IT. I highly recommend this book if you have not read it already. It’s got everything a horror/disturbing book reader could want along with a great tale of friendship and 7 brave kids/adults!
