This book is simultaneously exactly what I thought it would be and nothing like I thought it would be. The plot went exactly where I thought it would go but took a detour to gaslight, gatekeep, and girl boss; manipulate and mansplain (and a pit stop at prison).
Dual POV and one doesn’t use quotation marks to indicate a character is speaking but instead used : like a script would and that annoyed me.

Graphic: Toxic relationship, Stalking, and Gaslighting
Moderate: Cancer, Death, Homophobia, and Medical content
