Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid
5.0
Whilst I have enjoyed the books by Taylor Jenkins Reid that I have read, I wasn't so interested in this one from the book description. Then I managed to pick up a copy of Carrie Soto is Back from my local library and thought I should give this one a go first because of the overlapping characters. And overlapping characters we have, as Malibu Rising is focused on the children of Mick Riva.
Well I shouldn't have thought this book wasn't for me because I absolutely ate it up. The characters feel so real, I don't know how TJR does it. It's so impressive. The sense of family was so powerful and it contained a lot of compelling life messages.
I enjoyed the storytelling in Malibu Rising and if you enjoy TJR then I'm sure you will enjoy this book too, I'm so glad I picked it up.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
