What I liked about the book:
The descriptions off delicious food.
Reading about a side of Miami I've never read about before.
The fact that the main character is an anthropologist.
The actual sleuthing the main character does.
What I did not like:
The relationship tensionthat was mostly caused by Miriam jumping to conclusions and them not talking to each other.
The speed of the mysteryI'd figured out who it was way before the end so the book could have been shorter.
AlsoI would not be amused if my partner would not protect me against their parent and would refuse to give me insight into our finances. I did not see the appeal of Robert. A bit of lesser issue but I'd also be really disappointed if my partner concluded so quickly I was cheating on them.
