I’m normally not one for short stories but gave this one a try because it sounded interesting.
For something that’s just 30 pages long, it packs quite a punch and left me kind of empty afterwards. I think it’s one of these stories that will stick with the reader even for a long time afterwards.
If you can: listen to the audiobook. It’s included in the KU offer for the book and it’s exquisite. I read the book at first and listened to the audiobook afterwards and it gives you a different perspective. The narrator does an excellent job in my opinion.
