The Games Gods Play by Abigail Owen
5.0
Short chapters, fast pace, dynamic competition plot. Three major ingredients that made this book addictive and alluring. I loved reading this, I found myself not wanting to put it down.
It's a bit long at first glance, but the plot is chock full of action. There are challenges to the competition that keep the story constantly moving forward and hardly, if ever, losing steam. Alternating that with scenes that help build the connection between Lyra and Hades - it was wonderful. Oh yeah, and the fact that it's a big Greek gods-family affair just ups the stakes.
And the ending?? I am ready for book two. Now please.
