I read this beautifully illustrated graphic novel in less than 45 minutes, and laughed and cried and felt all the emotions for Marjorie and Wendell. These characters are so easy to relate to in such a short space of time. The plot explores deep and impactful themes but in a light-hearted format so it feels like you've been thrown about in a washing machine with your feelings a little, with a warm hug at the conclusion of the story.
I am looking forward to continuing this series in the future, but unfortunately my library (who I borrowed this book from) do not have the rest of the series in their catalogue so I am deliberating whether to invest in purchasing the graphic novels for my own collection.
