Another great volume. I think this one may be my favourite so far. Past volumes have felt very all-or-nothing, fast-paced and at times a little difficult to follow. This volume feels like it takes a breath to slow down and provide a few answers. Not as much happens as the last volume where a city was basically destroyed, but after those crazy events, I really feel this slower more succinct volume is needed.
And the end of chapter history lessons stopped after about two chapters in, which I was very happy about. I think I've done nothing but complain about those from the start.

I loved how this one ended off, and the feeling of found family (albeit a dysfunctional family) is really starting to shine. The characters are growing together and I just want them to stay together and protect each other. I'm totally rooting for Maika, Kippa, Ren, Corvin, and Vihn. And Zinn, of course. It wouldn't be the same without Zinn.

As always, the artwork is stunning. Never fails to take my breath away. The attention to detail amazes me and often I'll find myself forgetting the dialogue bubbles and simply admiring the artwork.
All in all, this is a fascinating story that is definitely building up to an intense climax. The politics are so involved and complex, and keeps me on my toes. I can't wait to see how the story develops further.
