Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney
5.0
I chose this book as my September Book of the Month book, and I’m so glad I did. I absolutely loved this story.
Alice Feeney writes such a creepy and atmospheric story and transports her readers to this spooky church in Scotland. I loved the dual timelines and how the flashbacks were told in a letter format on each of their anniversaries.
Feeney threw in a lot of red herrings so I thought the person tormenting Adam and Amelia was one person and ended up being completely wrong. There is a huge twist thrown in that I didn’t see coming at all. This twist was fantastic and totally made the story even better.
I thought the face blindness that Adam had was an interesting part of the plot. I had never heard of this before and found it so intriguing.
If you love thrillers than definitely check this one out. This was my first Alice Feeney book, but won’t be my last.
