True Love Dates: Your Indispensable Guide to Finding the Love of your Life by Debra Fileta

2.5

This book just wasn’t for me. That doesn’t mean it was bad. I might recommend it to a young Christian who needs to learn what Christian relationships should look like. My frustration with Christian dating books is that they assume you’re already dating a lot and need help weeding people out. This is not the advice I was looking for or what the title of the book implied it would be (posing itself as a juxtaposition to the purity culture/kiss dating goodbye thing). I ended up skimming a lot towards the the end so I could get through it. There were some valuable quotes throughout, however.
