I love nothing more than an enemies, forced proximity story that blossoms into deep, heartfelt love with that delicious sprinkle (ok, I love a heaping helping) of spice.

That’s what we get with Kian and Harper, two Formula 1 drivers. Kian is the elder statesman at a whopping 33 years old and Harper is the young, brash up-and-comer at 25 years old.

Harper has been called up to the big leagues (I don’t know racing terms!) when Kian’s bestie is injured and has to set out the season. Kian doesn’t like Harper’s devil-may-care attitude and sensational social media presence. What he doesn’t want to admit to himself is that he very much likes Harper’s godlike looks. And eventually, his personality.

Harper, on the other hand, used to have posters of Kian on his walls. He’s very aware of how attracted he is to Kian; however, Kian’s surly attitude leaves him cold. I mean, for a minute.

These two are forced to work together, travel and essentially live together as part of their racing team. You know that slow burn is going to ignite at some point.

I love this book! The narration is gorgeous. @james_joseph_audio and #joshuachase are absolutely spot-on as the couple.
