📖 This was a cute story with a strong willed woman and a man who's not afraid to let her be her best. FMC knows her mind, wants to take care of abandoned animals, doesn't want to get married. MMC is smitten almost right away and he admires her bravery and intellect. I love this dynamic. It was also genuinely funny at multiple points.
🎧 Mary Jane Wells narrated. The story was dual POV but MJW was the only narrator. As always, she did a lovely job with the voices and acting.
🌶️ 4/5 for a handful of explicit scenes
🏳️🌈✊ Not much diversity in the story... There's a bit of class diversity in her one friend who's a veterinarian. Nothing I heard indicated diversity in color or queerness or ability.
