I have had this series on my radar for quite some time and recently was gifted a physical copy so got right into the book.
I absolutely loved this romance novel! I completely related and understood our main character Delilah, in a way I haven't felt close to a main character in some time. I loved the pacing too, especially with Claire's daughter involved. From their 'first' meeting in the bar, to their complicated backstory, it was the perfect romance for me.
I think the only part for me that stopped this being a five-star favourite was that there was just too much plotline focused on Astrid's wedding, I think it just took too much time away from our couple, although I acknowledge this is what kept them both being pushed together.
I'm very much looking forward to continuing on with this series soon with Astrid's own love story continuing on and find out more about Iris, as her character hasn't been fully rounded yet in my opinion.
