I hadn't read anything by this author before, but I enjoyed this book and could see it being a valuable addition to our library. The discussion of therapy was open and conveyed the message that seeking help isn't a sign of being 'crazy,' but rather a way to learn skills for better functioning. This could be a helpful perspective for students to explore and discuss. I also noticed that my copy seemed to 'end' abruptly, which made me wonder if there was an issue with the copy As a parent of a child with special needs, I understand that finding the right medication can be a process of trial and error to get the right balance.
