Karma's Kiss by R.S. Grey
4.0
Karma’s Kiss had me giggling and swooning!
There were lines that had me cracking up out loud, like actually out loud. Not one of those in-my-mind-chuckles, but a full on belly laugh!
This book immediately put me in a good mood!
Now the synopsis had me sweating things a bit. I was so worried our heroine Madison would go too far in the promised antics of the blurb. But I promise the way it all unfolds makes sense, and will have you (or at least it did me!) backing Madison. She gets pulled into a ridiculous ploy, but she knows it and wants out early. Unfortunately, she must deal with some miscommunication trope that heads her way. And that had me fuming at our hero Sawyer, nor her.
Yet— I still loved those two together. Even when Sawyer had smoke steaming out my ears, I relished in his chemistry with Madison. It was magnetic! They fit together well, their bickering was hilarious, and their chemistry filled with oh so delicious spicy goodness.
I was laughing, loving, and having such a good time but then suddenly and rather abruptly the book ended. I was genuinely dismayed. It felt like it was just getting started before it ended all too soon for my liking. I would have loved more. I truly had a blast reading this one, and regardless of length, it filled my heart with all the joy and swoons. I am most certainly happy about that!
If you love romance that is a medley of spice, sweetness, laughs, and a touch of angst, be sure to pick up Karma’s Kiss!
