What You Are Looking For is in the Library by Michiko Aoyama

5.0

Funnily enough I waited months for this book on hold from the library, finally got to read it and it was an instant 5-star read. It ha 5 different chapters, each following a new protagonist who find themselves in the library looking for direction in life. I really loved the first two stories in particular, I resonated with the characters, feeling stuck in their current life and wanting more.
This book also has very sweet illustrations of the characters at the beginning of each story.
What I loved most though was how the stories began to interconnect and the library really does create a society. This book was full of hope, love and true happiness.
I would highly recommend this book, I can see it being well-loved by many audiences and I think any reader would take something meaningful away from this book.
