I am SO invested in this story. With the snippets of the song making you look into every possible outcome, trying to guess how things were going to go down. And the author still managing to surprise me in what actually happens.

The characters are developing so beautifully in their individual ways.

In the first book you got to know Lia and got snippets of the 2 men. The second book is all about developing both of the men and moving Lia forward. It was really well done.

The idea of magical gifts is still vague and I wish it was developed and explored more.

I am loving the side characters and their journeys.
