Noragami: Stray God, Vol. 6 by Adachitoka

Could this series stop beating me with the feels stick for FIVE FUCKING SECONDS?! PLEASE?!?!

Seriously, this was such an emotionally raw volume that had me tearing up towards the end. Bishamon's struggles were realistic, painful, and incredibly human. And while I still hate Kugaha and think he's a fucking obnoxious villain, his motivations and his thoughts on Bishamon were pretty sound. Bishamon has a reputation to uphold because of her name, and he felt she wasn't because she was too busy playing house with her family of shinki. That being said, Bishamon went through an unfathomably traumatic event regarding her past clan, so it makes sense that she would behave the way she did. But I loved how Yato said that what a god does is never wrong because honestly he's right. Bishamon wasn't wrong in pursuing Yato because he did kill her entire past clan save Kazuma, but she also wasn't entirely wrong in how she was taking care of her shinki. Yes, it wasn't the healthiest thing, but it wasn't life or death.

Okay, review's over, gotta go cry for a little while...
