I was not expecting to love this as much as I did but I LOVED this! I'm a huge fan of merfolk stories, and this one feels like it that kind of leans more towards an alien or monster romance in some of the tropes it includes - like size difference, not being able to communicate through language, the courtship, etc - and I really enjoyed that!

Will definitely try more books by this author.
