I read “Sabriel” when I was in high school, one of the first teen books I ever read. Since that was…a while ago…I didn’t remember much of the story so I was looking forward to the reread.
“Sabriel” was better than I remembered (ignoring the fact that I only remembered half a dozen scenes from the whole book). It was a classic high fantasy adventure with spooky twists, great humor, and interesting characters. It kept me hooked and bumped the sequels up on my TBR!
