I'm going to be 100% honest. I've read a lot of books in my life (believe me, A LOT) so it's no joke when I say that Love and Gelato is genuinely my favorite one by far. It's number one by a landslide. The lack of hype about this book comes as a complete and utter shock to me. Books like The Hunger Games and Divergent get more hype then they deserve, YEARS after they've been released, while a more recent book that is genuinely 10x more engaging, 10x more heartwarming, 10x more re-read worthy, gets half the hype. Jenna Evans Welch is an absolute master of her trade and deserve all the credit and all the love and all the joy in the world. She brought to the world an absolute masterpiece. For anyone who hasn't read it, I say to you what I say to all my fellow book loving friends: I never give anything this much hype unless I know it deserves it. This is one of these times. Please go read this book. I highly recommend it for everyone and anyone, from book lovers to trying to love bookers and everyone in between. I will take this book with me and everything in it along with me through thick and thin, and let it's lessons continue to be a true inspiration to me forever and always. Thank you, Jenna Evans Welch.
