sooo this hurt like a butt cheek on a stick. as someone who has experienced abuse, sexual assault, and many of the themes in this book, it was hard for me to read at times. despite this, i made it through. i will say, ryle is well written and i found times where i did like him despite. everything. i can't say i would have done anything different than lily except for the fact that maybe i would have been stupid enough to stay. the ending was perfect, although i wish we had more atlas time honestly. i get why we didn't, but i wish we could.
