I don't think this is a bad book; it just wasn't for me. I like murder mysteries and Steven King books, but this is somehow both and neither.
This is nitpicky, and I'm glad he set most of the book in Oklahoma, but he keeps calling Oklahoma City "Okie City," which nobody does in real life, and it drove me crazy.
