Did not finish book. Stopped at 33%.
dnf at 33%
- the audio was atrocious. at 3x speed, i should not be hearing full 1-2 second pauses. and i definitely shouldn't be hearing inhales of breath before every other sentence.
- the narrators sound like they are trying to eat the microphones. and why was the one guy practically whispering the whole time?
- the female narrator for aeri sounds so young, it is actually distracting.
- i simply do not care about any of the characters. not a single one.
- the chapters are super short, which i usually like. but in this, they are so short that i feel no connection to any characters or events because we spend no time with them at all before moving on to the next person.
- in theory, this story sounds super interesting, but in reality i was bored and while the second half might be more exciting, this first third gave me nothing to look forward to.
