Ahhh I finally got my hands on the long awaited Heavenly Tyrant! When I tell you that this book is so worth the wait, I genuinely mean it! 

This book is feminine rage coded. Xiran Jay Zhao writes so well and Zetian’s internal conflict can be felt strongly, battling with misogyny and trying to decide between the lesser of two evils. 

I do think this book is meant to spark a lot of conversation and it may not be to everyone’s enjoyment. This is the second book in a series so please keep that in mind when picking it up.
