Oh dear god, wow. I waited for this book for two years and I wasn’t disappointed. This book meant so much to me.
I was literally sitting there, reading it and thinking “so this is what representation feels like, huh?”
I haven’t read many sapphic books yet and this one managed to touch me in so many ways. Yes of course, it’s not exactly my experience. It isn’t what my European, 19 year old life looks like. But this is a queer story and made me feel so much a part of the queer community. It made me feel like a part of something like nothing has before.
And then there’s the story... my god it was delightful. I mean, a sapphic time-travel rom-com in the subway? How amazing is that!
Casey has a way of creating characters that you can’t not love. It’s something I noticed in red white and royal blue and was even stronger in this one. I loved these characters! All of them!
To conclude: I loved this book!
