The Housemaid Is Watching by Freida McFadden
3.0
This is the third and, I believe, final book in The Housemaid series which I have really had a good time reading. The Housemaid is Watching takes place some years after the second book, with Millie now married to Enzo with 2 children of their own and a new home.
The book took twists and turns that I didn’t see coming but I didn’t find it as gripping as previous works by the author. Also Millie is still as naïve as ever! I think for me this didn’t live up to either book 1 or 2 in the series but it was still a good way to round out the trilogy and Millie’s story.
As always, it was super easy and quick to read with fast, short chapters. I really recommend Frieda McFadden if you need to get out of a reading slump or want a thriller & a good time!
